Privacy Policy
This is a courtesy translation. In case of discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails. This page explains what personal data Carga Art collects through this site, what it is used for and what rights you have. The site exists to present the company’s services and to receive requests for quotes — it sells nothing online, creates no user accounts and asks for no payment details.
WHO PROCESSES YOUR DATA
The data you send through this site is processed by Carga Art, an international freight forwarder operating in Angola. For any question about privacy, write to geral@carga-art.ao.
WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
This site collects only the following:
Contact form data: the name, telephone number, email address and message you write. These are the details we need in order to answer your request for a quote.
Technical server logs: IP address, date and time of the request and browser type. These are generated automatically by any web server and serve to keep the site running and to block abusive automated submissions.
Cookies: the public site uses no advertising or audience-analytics cookies. Only the restricted site-management area uses a session cookie, which is needed to keep you signed in.
WHAT WE USE THE DATA FOR
We use the data you send us only to:
To answer your request and prepare the quote.
To speak to you during the operation, if we go ahead with it.
To keep a record of the contact for later follow-up.
To protect the site from abuse and to meet legal obligations.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. We do not use it to send you advertising you have not asked for. We do not transfer it beyond the scope of your request.
HOW LONG WE KEEP THEM
Messages are kept for as long as they are needed to answer the request and for any commercial follow-up arising from it. You may ask for your message to be deleted at any time.
WHO WE SHARE THEM WITH
The data is accessed by the Carga Art team and by the provider that hosts and maintains the site, which is bound by confidentiality. Where the operation requires it, the data needed for transport may be shared with the partners involved in that operation — carriers, agents at origin and customs authorities.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The contact page includes a Google map and the site has a WhatsApp link. When you use those services, the privacy policy of their providers also applies.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
This site may link to third-party pages. We do not control those sites and are not answerable for what happens on them.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may ask us for access to the data we hold about you, for the correction of anything that is wrong and for the deletion of anything no longer needed. Just write to geral@carga-art.ao.
SAFETY
The site is served over an encrypted connection and access to messages is limited to those with an account in the management area. No system is infallible, but we treat your data with the care we would expect for our own.
APPLICABLE LAW
This policy is governed by the Angolan legislation applicable to the protection of personal data.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page, with the date of the update at the top.
