MULTIMODAL FREIGHT
Multimodal freight combines more than one means of transport in the same operation — sea, air and road — to take your goods from origin to destination in Angola. We organise loading at origin, handle the documentation and follow the cargo through to delivery.
We work with full container load (FCL), groupage (LCL), break bulk and oversized cargo, with receipt at the Port of Luanda and the Port of Lobito, and we handle the process door to door, from the supplier’s warehouse to your door.
What we do
We study what you are shipping, where it comes from and the deadline you need, and propose the right combination of route and modes of transport. From there we coordinate every stage — booking space, collection at origin, loading, documentation and receipt in Angola — and keep you informed.
Route and mode of transport
Sea, air, road or combined, according to volume, cost and urgency.
Full container load and groupage
A container just for your cargo (FCL) or a shared container (LCL), depending on the volume.
Door-to-door coordination
We speak to your supplier, arrange collection and follow the cargo through to its destination.
why multimodal freight
Combining modes of transport balances cost, capacity and time in the same operation: what is urgent goes by air, volume goes by sea, and distribution within Angola goes by road. Transit times and costs are confirmed case by case, before we proceed.
One contact — a single person responsible for your operation, from start to finish.
Usual origins — China, Dubai, Portugal, Brazil, South Africa and Namibia.
National ports — receipt at the Port of Luanda and the Port of Lobito, with customs clearance followed up with the AGT.
Documentation and insurance — documents checked before loading, and cover for the cargo in transit if you wish.
frequently asked questions
It is an operation that uses more than one means of transport — for example, sea to the port and road to your warehouse — with a single contact responsible from start to finish. The combination is chosen according to volume, cost and time.
A full container load (FCL) makes sense when the cargo fills the container or comes close to it; groupage (LCL) suits smaller volumes, which share a container with other cargo. Once we know the volume and the weight, we will tell you which of the two suits your case better.
As a rule, the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and the transport document — bill of lading for sea freight, or air waybill. We check the documents before loading, because that is where delays on arrival are avoided.
Yes. We follow the customs clearance with the AGT, collect the cargo at the port or airport and deliver it to the agreed address, in Luanda or in the other provinces.
